On a 2017 13" MacBook Pro with MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 the baud rate is not set, instead the default value of 9600 baud is used.
By moving the Apple specific baud rate setting past the
tcsetattr()call, the baud rate 2000000 is being set correctly.
