Backend Caching Service #102
Description
Current caching not well maintained. Does not include basic functions for cleanup.
I implemented an interface to this current nodeCache file, but for my own use case i.e. coupled to my code.
Should we run into additional caching needs, it would be worthwhile to create a robust and maintainable local caches
