Toggle diff panel stuck

As soon the diff panel is open, there is no way to close it

Expected Behavior

I want to be able to close the diff panel by using the +/- button or keyboard command

Actual Behavior

toggle diff panel button is stuck (in pressed mode), unable to close the panel

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

1. ask agent to make some changes
2. when you see the changed files section, click on any file
3. it opens the diff panel, which works fine
4. try to either click the toggle panel button or use the keyboard command CMD+D
