[Bug] Right trigger inputs release after a while #792

@L10nM4st3r

Description

@L10nM4st3r

Current Behaviour

If I hold the mine button (bound to right trigger, the default) for a long while, eventually it will stop mining. Sometimes it lasts a good 30 seconds, sometimes it stops after only a few seconds.

I am on a steam deck OLED, running controllify 2.5.2 (latest stable release), minecraft 1.21.10, fabric loader 0.18.3.

(I can't play with the beta controlify versions because it crashes my game. "[84.675s][warning][os] Loading hsdis library failed". I have managed to run with it, but now it crashes and I have spent all day messing with mods and I do not wanna mess around anymore)

Expected Behaviour

It to continue mining blocks for as long as I have the trigger pressed down.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Give yourself haste 255 or any other way to insta-break blocks.
  2. In survival, break blocks by holding down the trigger, do not release.
  3. Eventually the game will stop mining despite not depressing the trigger.

Additional Information

Only thing I could maybe assume it is, I do have a mouse plugged in, I'm in desktop mode as of testing, I'm walking around, and looking around. Insta-breaking dirt and sometimes snow, sometimes aiming at air. Seems vibrations do not effect it, whether enabled or disabled. Gyro-controls enabled. Lightly-modded (mostly vanilla with qol) game.

Running the game through Prism Launcher AppImage (instead of flatpak, because flatpak made the game stutter randomly).

Just to make sure...

  • I have made sure I am using the latest version of Controlify for the latest version of Minecraft.
  • I have made sure there are no other issues describing the same problem on the issue tracker.
