After changing the runtime from dotnet8 to dotnet10, I encountered the error: “lib64/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found”.

We are deploying using the dotnet lambda tool. I did not modify any other libraries.
This issue did not occur with dotnet 8, but it started happening after changing the TargetFramework to dotnet10.

Below is the deployment command I use.

If I publish with "dotnet lambda deploy-function", I have verified that the version of lib64/libm.so .6: version GLIBC_ is 2.34. However, when some of the functions of the namespace below are used, it is confirmed that the problem occurs while trying to use version 2.38.

Thanks for posting this with the answer. At the time of release the public.ecr.aws/sam/build-dotnet10:latest didn't yet exist so I default to the Microsoft provided build images. I'll update the default to the public.ecr.aws/sam/build-dotnet10:latest image now that it is out.

Version 6.0.4 of Amazon.Lambda.Tools is out which defaults to the SAM image.
