MSU Library Auto URL

Overview

This is a simple readme for:

  • Lib_Auto_URL - The batch file that puts a shortcut of Lib_URL on both the Desktop and Startup folder
  • Lib_URL - The batch file that actually opens a website when ran

How to Use

Run this batch file [Lib_Auto_URL.bat] AS ADMINISTRATOR and if done correctly, the Auto URL program will be placed onto the desktop, and it's shortcut will be copied to the Startup folder to run on first startup.

Changing the URL

To change the Web URL located on the Lib_URL.bat file run the Lib_URL.bat file in a text editor such as Notepad++ or VS Code, and change the line that starts with [start '' ] to the URL of your choosing.
